I am very satisfied with this purchase. The ieGeek 5MP Doorbell Camera arrived on time and exactly as described. Setup was straightforward, and the video quality is excellent. I appreciate that there's no subscription required, and it works seamlessly with Alexa. The 2-way audio and PIR motion detection features work well and add a strong layer of security to my home. Overall, it's a great value for the price, and I would definitely recommend it.

I bought the doorbell Iegeek J9 at the beginning of January and it turned out to be faulty. After talking to the service staff, the problem was solved very quickly. Very quick answers and nice service. Now the doorbell works as it should. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase. Quality: It feels sturdy and well-made. I recommend.

As someone who’s frequently away from home, I purchased this doorbell camera mainly to better manage parcel deliveries and keep track of visitors. It more than met my requirements for these tasks but also provided a very unexpected and welcome purpose.Firstly I was very impressed with both the device and its companion app. The setup and installation process was incredibly straightforward and surprisingly quick—it took me less than 10 minutes from unboxing to having it up and running. The clear instructions and thoughtful design made the entire process hassle-free - it’s totally wire-free installation by the way.The app is equally impressive—intuitive, easy to navigate, and packed with useful features. From setting up motion detection zones to reviewing recorded footage, everything works seamlessly. You just get the impression that a bit of thought went into making the user experience as smooth as possible.The picture quality exceeded my expectations. The video feed is stunningly clear, both during the day and at night, (see Photos) providing sharp details that I didn’t expect at this price point. So the set up did everything I had hoped for but there was moreThis clarity proved invaluable within the first week of use when the camera identified a potential sneak thief. I discovered that someone had been walking around the village in the middle of the night trying house and car doors. I checked the footage on the Cam and there he was walking past my door at 4.31 am!Overall, this doorbell camera has been a fantastic investment. Its easy installation, user-friendly app, and outstanding picture quality are standout points. So in addition to the benefits above about parcels and visitors it is also highly recommended for anyone looking to add another layer to their home security for a very low price.

The IeGeek Bell J9 plus doorbell cam is a great and affordable working doorbell, Camera option. A lot of pros with this one. The app works very seamless. Connectivity was easy with the Wi-Fi network I have and and the battery life is pretty good and the pictures are actually really good for a 5 megapixel door cam and the videos are even pretty smooth. There were only three cons that I would say I wish the camera would do different one is. I wish there was a zoom out or zoom in function. The camera tends to point very high so when you’re trying to mount it, you might not get a full picture of the lower half. If you look at the picture I posted you can’t really see the steps because there’s no function to adjust the camera remotely or other otherwise ,also the battery while strong has to be recharged so to remove it you have to use a small pin or paper clip & a push hole on the bottom to get the camera out. I understand this is a security thing, but if it’s mounted to the front of your house, it’s not the easiest thing to do, especially if you live in a cold area and your hands are freezing and shaking. Overall, the app and the camera itself for the price point are definitely worth a look and I would highly recommend it. I really hope in the future yourable to adjust the lens. In an update or in the next model.

I purchased this as I had seen an article saying it’s compatible with Apple HomeKit. It’s NOt compatible. However the camera works well. It was easy to set up and connect to my WiFi. It only works on 2.4Ghz WiFi. If you only have the 5Ghz WiFi, log into your WiFi settings - where you change the name of the WiFi and the WiFi’s password - and split your WiFi line into 2/ turn on the 2.4GHz line of your wifi so it becomes available. I realised a lot of people are not aware of this. Anyway, I only returned it because it does not connect to my HomeKit but it does work and the camera is good. It is a little slow hence the 4 stars. I cannot speak on night vision or battery life as I did not keep it. I hope this review helps other shoppers. If you are not using Apple ecosystem then this is a good and affordable option. Also make sure to purchase a micro sd memory card as it does not come with one

Well what can I say I’m so happy with this igeek doorbell. Previous to this I had a ring doorbell and I think this one is better. It comes with a doorbell. The camera image is amazing quality and it was quick and easy to set up. I can use the app to check in at anytime which is great. Definitely won’t be disappointed

The camera was very easy to set up and install. The app also works excellently. Does all that it says and video quality is great even at night. I highly recommend this product.

This 5mp doorbell camera is fantastic little devicePicture quality far exceeded my expectations daytime and night time is crystal clear it took me 20 mins to set up and fit to wall just 2 little screws in the wall there is no subscription to pay for footage unlike some others this is a 5 star doorbell camera and would recommend it to anyone to buy

We’ve had ieGeek wireless security cameras for a while now and are very happy with them. So, when it came to choosing a video doorbell, a unit from ieGeek that uses the same app made sense. The facility of a subscription-free backup to the cloud, albeit of limited size, was attractive too. So many other video doorbells have severe limitations without a substantial monthly outlay.While the ieGeek app leads you through the video doorbell setup process very well, we did run into one snag. Our WiFi hub combines both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz channels under one SSID. As a result, our WiFi did not appear on the available connections list in the app. We had to temporarily disable the 5GHz channel and try the setup process again. Our hub then appeared on the list, we were able to connect successfully and the device remained connected even after the 5GHz channel was re-enabled. Other than that, setting up the unit and its associated chime was pretty straightforward.We’re very pleased that an alternative fixing method (adhesive strips) was supplied with the doorbell. The ‘ideal’ mounting spot on the wall was already in use, so we fixed the doorbell to the adjacent doorframe instead. Here, we get a WiFi signal level in excess of 80%, which is fine. Our unit is mounted roughly at shoulder height, as this seems to give the best view of an adult by our front door.The picture from the camera is very good, both during the day and at night when it switches to black and white mode. The attached photos show the installation, plus sample views both in daylight and at night.We did run into an issue with the Motion Detection setting though. For some reason, switching from ‘Off’ to ‘On’, or vice versa, is not immediately accepted by the unit. You have to take some other action, such as Live View, before the setting changes successfully. Once you recognise this quirk it’s not a big issue, but the extra step should not really be necessary. I’ve reported the issue back to ieGeek and, true to their excellent customer service, received a response that it will be investigated. It will be interesting to see if a firmware or software update is forthcoming.So far, the battery life seems good. It dropped a little quickly to begin with, but I guess that’s inevitable during setup and installation. I may add to this review after a couple of months with an update on long-term battery life.In conclusion, we’re very pleased with the ieGeek video doorbell, as we are with our two ieGeek security cameras, and would happily recommend them to anyone. Had it not been for the minor issues detailed above, we would have given the unit five stars instead of four. If those issues are addressed, we’ll happily upgrade the rating to five stars if we can.

Really really like this product and the main thing is that you can insert an sd card which records all the footage of people leaving or coming to the door, no subscription required and really easy to set up, feels really secure also 👍

I found the setup of this doorbell camera very easy, came with screws and adhesive pads which was helpful.Doorbell camera looks good and isn't too large.The ringer part is compact and can easily be hidden/ doesn't look bad if it's visible.The app is easy to use.All round a good camera, only thing is you have to buy the micro SD card separately.

The app quickly detects the doorbell once you turn it on and simply follow the instructions on the screen.Once set up connect the chime to it and you're ready to go.Also I highly recommend switching on the free 6 second clips that allow for some free cloud storage in case someone tries to tamper with your camera.Whenever someone hits the doorbell you get a notification on your phone which when tapped show a screen similar to a phone call that you can answer to start talking to the person who is on the other side.One small caveat I would say is that if someone really tries to tamper with the camera and know these they could easily cover their face and come close to the camera and remove it with the toothpick or a sim ejector tool.One workaround for this could be potentially to set up the motion detection on it so that it records the 6 second clip if someone is approaching it.Other than this I think it is a great Video Doorbell camera and great addition to your security setup.

On a foggy night the clarity of the image is still really good. For the price it's better than ring doorbell or eufy because it gives the option for memory expansion with SD card up to 120gb. App very easy to use and intuitive, not bombaring you with no ads or pushing you to buy their cloud plans. For this £60 mark with the voucher you must get it.
